The theme for this month’s photo blogging challenge was ‘Morning’. At the beginning of November we had some misty mornings here in the UK. I took my five shots on my journey from home, to catch the early 8.30am train from Nottingham going to St Pancras station in London. It’s not often I travel by train or go to the big city.
When I arrived at the station I discovered new changes to the infrastructure of the roads close by. There is now a newly built bridge allowing the Nottingham Trams to stop at the station.
I discovered that the landscape views around the train station have changed too over the past few years and I can now visibly see the modern parts of the city pushing out the old.
But, saying that I liked the easy excess and quick links for people going to catch trains. I also realised that before the recent road works and extended tram system I wouldn’t have been able to see or photograph the landscapes of Nottingham station, as there was no bridge to allow for my perspective.
I’ve decided to present my five ‘morning’ themed images in a slideshow this time. I hope you like them.
